Riccardo got his undergraduate degree in biotechnology in his hometown in Milan, Italy. After his graduation, he moved to Amsterdam, the Netherlands, for his doctoral studies under the supervision of Ton Schumacher, where he focused on genetic screens aimed at dissecting the interactions between T cells and cancer cells. As a postdoctoral fellow in Scott’s lab, he is studying the interplay between tumor suppressor pathways and tumor-specific immunity. Outside of the lab, Riccardo enjoys running, good beer, and junk food, often one right after the other.
