Xiang (Grace) Li majored in Animal Sciences in her undergraduate study in China Agricultural University and then obtained her master’s degree in Animal Sciences in The Ohio State University, focusing on lipid metabolism and reproductive physiology. Before joining the Lowe Lab as a PhD student, she spent two years studying stem cell therapy for diabetes in University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her current research projects involve studying liver diseases such as cancer, fibrosis, and NASH in the context of aging and senescence using novel pre-clinical models. Her hobbies include playing the violin, creative writing, and spending time with fluffy animals.
