Postdoctoral Position -  Laboratory of epithelial Cancer Biology

The institution is a comprehensive cancer center whose purposes are the treatment and control of cancer, the advancement of biomedical knowledge through laboratory and clinical research, and the training of scientists, physicians and other health care workers.
 
We are seeking a highly motivated and successful postdoctoral research scientist with experience in molecular biology and drug development needed for a translational research laboratory involved in development of anti-neoplastic agents. The focus of the laboratory is development of compounds that inhibit components of the neddylation pathway. The postdoctoral fellow will be working on optimizing compound for clinical use as well as using it as a tool to dissect molecular pathway activity. Opportunity to transition to industry would also be available to the correct candidate. This is a exceptional opportunity for the right candidate. The laboratory is long-standing, well-funded, including NIH grants.
