I am a clinical social worker who provides support to people with multiple myeloma and those receiving bone marrow transplants. I see patients at the David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
When patients and their caregivers meet with me, we:
- Work together to explore how their diagnosis and treatment is impacting them emotionally, physically, and socially.
- Discuss ways to improve coping.

Walk through support resources.
Some of the most common questions and concerns that I hear from my patients are:
- How can I adjust to living with a chronic cancer like multiple myeloma?
- How will having a bone marrow transplant affect my life?
- What resources are available to support me and my loved ones?
I take the time to learn about each patient and understand what matters most to them. From there, we can partner to create a plan that is best suited to their unique circumstances. It is important to me that patients feel understood, supported, and empowered after meeting with me.
When I am not working, I enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends.
