I am an assistant attending physicist in the Department of Medical Physics at Memorial Sloan Kettering Westchester. Working closely with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and radiation therapists, I am responsible for delivering precise patient radiotherapy treatment and improving the quality of patient care.
After obtaining my PhD in optical engineering in 2014 from University College Dublin, Ireland, I completed my postdoctoral research in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. In 2017, I began the medical physics residency training program at Stanford University. Upon completion, I joined the faculty of MSK. My graduate research focused on optical engineering and its applications; biomedical cancer detection using Raman spectroscopy; microscopic imaging; and 3D holographic image processing. My current clinical research involves improving the safety, quality, and efficiency of radiotherapy through health informatics, data mining, and machine learning. I am currently working towards the implementation of an integrated clinical decision support system through automation.
