I am an assistant attending physicist in the External Beam Treatment Planning section of the Clinical Physics Service. I am responsible for implementing new radiotherapy software tools in the clinic.
My research interests are focused on improving the efficiency and accuracy of the radiotherapy treatment planning and delivery process. I also have an interest in the medical physics education of physicians, radiation therapists, and fellow physicists. I am an editor for the Raphex examination, a test administered to radiation oncology residents in the US that measures knowledge of radiological physics concepts.
I received a PhD in medical physics from Columbia University in 2012. I was certified in therapeutic radiological physics by the American Board of Radiology in 2008 and am a member of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine, the Radiological and Medical Physics Society of New York, and the American Society for Radiation Oncology.
