I am an assistant attending physicist in the Department of Medical Physics at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. My clinical responsibility is to provide broad physics services and consultation to ensure safe and accurate radiotherapy for our patients. My research interests include mathematical modeling of imaging systems and underlying physics; integration of sophisticated models into advanced model-based iterative reconstruction methods; and translation of such approaches to clinical applications in both diagnostic imaging and image-guided radiation therapy.
I am an active member of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) and was selected for the 2019 class of Science Council Associates Mentorship Program (SCAMP) as an associate. I also received a Research Seed Funding Grant and Best-in-Physics (Imaging) Award from AAPM.
I earned my PhD in biomedical engineering from Stony Brook University, followed by a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University. I then received training in clinical physics through the Stanford University Medical Physics residency program. Upon completing my residency in 2020, I joined the faculty of MSK.
