As a Physician Assistant on the MSK Pulmonary Service in the Division of Subspecialty Medicine, I work collaboratively with Pulmonologists to provide comprehensive care to patients with a wide range of pulmonary conditions. Together, we diagnose and manage patients with pulmonary complications of malignancy or its treatment, including bone marrow transplant or immunotherapy.  In addition, I care for patients with chronic lung disease and general respiratory symptoms. My other area of expertise includes pleural disease and the management of pleural effusions which may greatly impact quality of life. I perform thoracentesis and indwelling tunneled pleural catheter placement procedures for immediate symptom relief and durable management of pleural effusions.  For continuity of care, I follow patients in our Pleural Disease Clinic and in the inpatient setting. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2009 and Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2014 at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. My prior clinical experience was in thoracic surgical oncology and cardiothoracic intensive care.
