Program of Study

The mission of the Gerstner Sloan-Kettering Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences is to advance the frontiers of knowledge by providing to gifted and creative students in an interactive, innovative, and collegial environment the education and training they need to make new discoveries in the biological sciences.
Our school offers an exciting opportunity for students eager to train as basic laboratory scientists in a multidisciplinary setting, leading to careers in which they see their laboratory findings applied to human disease.
No matter what his or her specialty, every faculty member is a nationally recognized scientist, working at the forefront of biomedical research.
Memorial Sloan-Kettering's main campus occupies three city blocks on Manhattan's Upper East Side and includes 39 research core facilities -- from x-ray crystallography to high-throughput drug screening.
