Project description

I am a member of the Leukemia Service at MSKCC. My projects build upon the van den Brink Lab’s experience in immunology in patients with hematologic malignancies to study T cell immunity in patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). Using advanced sequencing and imaging approaches, including T cell receptor sequencing, I am particularly focused on studying the bone marrow immune environment with the goal of ultimately improving immunotherapy strategies for AML and MDS. My work also includes studies in recipients of allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplants, a long-standing immunotherapy for AML and MDS patients.
