I am focused on modernizing the Molecular Microbiology Facility (MMF), a MSKCC resource for microbiome research. My supervisory role involves developing and innovating NGS protocols and workflows, from bench to analysis, including integration with robotics. In parallel, I am involved in elevating MMF’s current fecal biobank to an institutional LIMS Biobank. In the near future, new research resources will be implemented such as culturomics, virome, and long-read sequencing assays.
