Our lab has previously demonstrated that adoptive transfer of in vitro-generated T cell precursors at the time of transplant leads to enhanced thymocyte and peripheral T cell numbers, which in turn results in significant anti-tumor and antimicrobial immunity post-HSCT. In collaboration with Dr. Miguel-Angel Perales and Dr. Isabelle Riviere, I am working towards optimizing the production and clinical use of these T cell precursors in improving patient responses after HSCT.
