Frontiers of Science Symposium
On October 6, 2011, Gerstner Sloan-Kettering sponsored Frontiers of Science, a daylong symposium for undergraduates and their faculty advisors to meet Gerstner Sloan-Kettering leaders and graduate students while enjoying faculty talks, student posters, and a visit to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center research facilities. The symposium included talks by Gerstner Sloan-Kettering Dean Ken Marians, molecular biologist Iestyn Whitehouse, computational biologist Christina Leslie, Human Oncology and Pathogenesis Program Chair Charles Sawyers, and Memorial Sloan-Kettering President Craig Thompson.
