Application for fall 2013 admission to the PhD program will be available in fall 2012. All applicants must complete and submit the online application form.
In addition, applicants must supply:
- official final transcripts from all institutions attended
- three letters of recommendation from advisors and/or research mentors, to be submitted online by the recommenders.
- official scores in the Graduate Record Examinations (verbal, quantitative, and analytical writing). If taken, the GRE subject test score should be submitted. It is highly recommended that applicants take the GRE subject test
- applicants for whom English is not their first language must submit official scores of the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) exam.
Applicants who, on the basis of their submitted application materials, are being seriously considered for acceptance will be invited for interviews.
The requirement for in-person interviews may be waived if geographical constraints are overwhelming, and may be substituted with telephone/video interviews. The Admissions Committee of the graduate school will consider all data on each applicant before making its decision.
